DO THE PARTICIPANTS AT YOUR MEETINGS EXPRESS THEMSELVES IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES?

Ensure the quality of communications between the speaker and participants, during your events, by calling on a professional interpreter, who will orally translate, in real time, from one language to another, the words spoken by one or several individuals.

Take advantage of the expertise of L’envol des Langues whereby professions will translate and interpret conversations during the course of your business or informal meetings.

TYPES OF EVENTS

  • Press conferences
  • Corporate meetings
  • Business visits
  • Trade fairs
  • Factory visits
  • Courses, seminars and training
  • Diplomatic negotiations
  • Union negotiations
  • Trade missions
  • Presentations

TYPES OF INTERPRETATION (according to the OLF French Language Board)

  • liaison interpretation, where the interpreter translates a conversation between two or more persons who don’t speak the same language;
  • simultaneous interpretation, where translation of a speech is done without the speaker stopping;
  • consecutive interpretation, where the speaker pauses to permit the interpreter to translate segments of the speech.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETATION

The main difference between a translator and an interpreter is the means used for communication: interpretation is basically oral; translation is written.
